從微觀的生活中,感受到的地震、生活、個體與世界的並置與生存,蘇文琪把這個經驗與感受帶給雲門舞者,以身體描寫選擇,編織出平凡日常的背後全貌。面對各種不同型態的災難,身在臺灣的我們,活在地震帶下,也正似處在板塊與板塊間的摩擦,擠壓在大國與大國間的身份。我們不見身體,卻在這樣的冷戰氛圍下,感受著不確定,不穩定的狀態,既遠又近的危機感對身體造成的衝擊,讓蘇文琪與舞者共同創作出從生活的日常,投射著微小的身體狀態。雖微觀的講述生活,卻更企圖深刻地看向宏觀的世界,提升至對社會與自然的反思,掘其中蘊含的情感。

In daily life, we can sense the coexistence of earthquakes, existence, individuals, and the world. SU Wen-chi brings this experience to Cloud Gate dancers, depicting choices through their bodies, revealing the depth behind routine.
Living in Taiwan's earthquake zone, we feel squeezed between tectonic plates and the friction of great powers. Though our bodies may not be visible, in a silent treatment atmosphere, we keenly feel the uncertainty and instability, and the crisis impacts us. SU Wen-chi and the dancers collaborate to depict bodily states, aiming to examine the world deeply, reflecting on society and nature, and unearthing emotions.
Still Life features some music generated by an AI model, with voice- overs by HUANG Po-kai, CHANG Pei-cheng, Annette Lyn SHEO, WANG Chun-hung, and HOU Tang-l in sequence.
